Sloan C Conference

RaNae and Megan attended a conference this month in Dallas. The following is Megan's report on the conference:

"We went to the Sloan Consortium Conference that was held in Dallas, Texas on Apr. 9-11th. The theme was 'Emerging Technologies' and bonus, it was awesome! I listened to, met and rubbed shoulders (sometimes inappropriately) with a wide range of educational professionals from across the education spectrum. We also ate at some fabulous places and enjoyed getting to know two instructors that we'll be working with: Brenda Gardner and Carla Kulinsky. Good times! I actually wish the conference was a little longer, but I'm a freak, surely. ;) p.s. The beds at the Sheraton were amazing. I recommend taking a pillow when you go (bars of soap are so 1985.) Wish I had!"
